Description

Laurent Gay founded the Ensemble vocal Séquence in Geneva in 1993. Its core of sixteen singers was determined right at the start. Since 1996 the ensemble has worked together with numerous other ensembles such as the Ensemble Contrechamps, the Centre International de percussion, the Orchestra of the Amadeus Festival, the Lausanne Chamber Orchestra and others. It is in this context that the ensemble pursues its exploration of the repertoire for small vocal ensemble from the 20th and 21st centuries. Today, the Ensemble vocal Séquence is regularly praised for the quality of its performances, the originality of its concert programmes and its unique approach.
